Event Details
The Australian Die Casting Association and the Australian Foundry Institute are pleased to announce that our joint event in October 2019 will be a tour of the Nissan Casting Plant in Dandenong South, Victoria.
This plant now produces aluminium pressure Die Cast components used in the Nissan electric vehicles. The tour will include the Die Casting and trimming work cells, the extensive high precision machining centres and the critical testing and Assembly cells.
Come along and see how these high precision parts are produced in large quantities and shipped internationally.
After the plant tour, participants will meet in the lunchroom where a meal will be provided and further discussion can take place.
